Special Note re: Fruits/Vegetables
We take a natural, whole foods supplement of concentrated fruits & vegetables, which is the equivalent of 5 servings of organically grown and harvested fruits & vegetables in every serving. The farms where the supplement is produced and processed are certified a level above "organic" and use NO herbicides or pesticides anywhere in the growing, harvesting, or bottling process. (Crazy enough, they actually fly in special bugs and plants from all over the world and enlist the aide of organically-fed sheep in the pest control/fertilizing processes!)
When undergoing chemotherapy treatment, we're learning the greatest concern regarding "herbs" and "natural supplements" is the potential for biological contamination, especially from the herbicides and pesticides used in the growing/harvesting of most fruits & vegetables. Please be sure to always find a REPUTABLE supplement manufacturer/provider and/or ALWAYS remove skins from any raw fruits or vegetables given to individual being treated.
